Malay 4 – Tutorial 3 – Pujangga

Bina lima ayat dengan lima perkataaan dalam Sajak Pujangga.

1) Mencemburui (Jealous)

– Oleh sebab Ahmad mencemburui Peter dapat berkahwinan dengan Nurul, dia merosakkan rancangan perkahwinan mereka.

(Due to the fact that Ahmad was jealous that Peter got to marry Nurul, he messed up their wedding plans)

2) Perjuangan (positive struggles and efforts e.g. championing for something)

-Untuk dapat kepuasan dalam kehidupan, kami mesti berusaha keras untuk perjuangan.

(In order to achieve satisfaction in life, we must work hard for in our efforts for a cause)

3) Bertempiaran (disperse all over)

-Pada setiap bulan Februari, biji bunga merah akan bertempiaran di sekeliling taman.

(During every February, seeds of the red flower will disperse all over the surroundings of the park)

4) Beralun (coming like the waves)

-Pada hari pertama Tahun Baru Cina, akan ada banyak orang-orang beralun ke kuil untuk berdoa

(Every first day of Chinese New year, there will be a lot of people going to the temple to pray like the coming of the waves)

5) Dicalit (to splatter/to draw/to put colour to – root word is “dicat”, where “cat” means paint in Malay)

-Rumah baru ini tidak menarik kecuali ada perabot-perabot yang cerah untuk dicalitnya.

(This new house is not interesting unless there are bright furnitures to add colour to it.
